Civil and Commercial Mediation
Civil Mediation can help you avoid lengthy legal battles, save money and maintain or re-establish a relationship between businesses, family members, friends, neighbours or faith communities.
Mediation offers you a place where, supported by a qualified and experienced mediator, you can talk through and resolve the questions which have led to your disagreement.
Mediators help you gather relevant information, consider different options and reach an agreement.
Neighbours & Boundaries
People feel passionately about matters which affect their home life and their property. We help neighbours resolve disputes which are affecting their comfort, their security and the enjoyment of their property, without the expense and worry of Court proceedings.
We can mediate between neighbours who:
- Are concerned about noise or other anti-social behaviour;
- Have boundary disputes;
- Disagree about the planting or growth of trees or hedges;
- Believe that their neighbour’s use of land is unreasonable or unlawful
Wills & Inheritance
Inheritance disputes, contested wills and probate claims can destroy families, take years to resolve and involve huge legal fees. Mediation enables family members to discuss their concerns and find mutually acceptable solutions.
What sort of situations can be dealt with in mediation?
Disagreements between family members about the way in which a Will should be interpreted or an estate distributed
Conflicts about the administration of trusts, including children’s trust funds

Problems over the care of the elderly or disabled and management of their money or living arrangements
Discussions within a family about the way in which a family member should leave his or her estate.
